My teacher gets angry
I was at a children’s conference recently, working with 90 children on developing their questioning skills. When I was encouraging them to ask questions the common response was “When I ask questions my teacher gets angry”. This has prompted me to write an article with that comment as its title. I believe that the comment indicates three disconnects that are happening in some of our schools, maybe in more than we think.
